I do a lot of custom rings. It seems to be the most personal piece of jewelry that I create. Many people express deep sentiments and memories through wearing a ring. Wedding and commitment rings are the most common manifestation, but I also do a lot of rings where people bring me their mother’s wedding ring, or an heirloom gemstone of some kind, and want it put in a ring that is more “them”.
